Doherty Washes Up on 'North Shore'
	In an effort to shore up waterlogged ratings, FOX's summer series 'North Shore' is added tabloid bad girl Shannen Doherty to its cast. The show is shot on location in Hawai'i and features a young, attractive cast, including 'Baywatch Hawai'i's Brooke Burns, 'The OC's Amanda Righetti and former Mouseketter Nikki DeLoach, trying to run a resort hotel. Doherty will be the bad sister of Burns' character, Nicole Booth. In a statement, Doherty says, "I'm lucky because I have a really loyal fan base and I hope they all come over. The character I play, Alexandra has a lot of vulnerability. She grew up knowing her dad was alive and that he knew she was alive, yet wanted nothing to do with her. I'm sure she has some daddy issues." Doherty appeared in three episodes initally, but became a regular.
