Neve Steams Up The Shower
	How many times have we heard an actress self-righteously declare she'll never go bare only to change her mind once her career hits the skids? Now I'm not saying I don't believe Neve Campbell when she gives her reasons for stripping down in her new flick When Will I Be Loved, but it's funny how in Wild Things it wasn't artistically necessary for Neve to bare her breasts during a threesome scene with Denise Richards and Matt Dillion, but now it raises her art to go full frontal and masturbate in a shower scene. At the time of Wild Things she was coming off her fame on TV's 'Party of Five' and had the success of the Scream movies and now people barely remember who Neve is. But don't listen to my cynical description, let Neve explain herself, "It's not about how people perceive me or how audiences are going to perceive me or how the industry is going to perceive me. It's about what I want to do," Campbell explains to Access Hollywood. "I thought [the nudity] was necessary to the film. I've had problems with nudity in the past when I think it has nothing to do with the actual films themselves, when it only has to do with box office draw. "This film is about sexual exploration," she says. "So to see the character in that kind of raw place at the very beginning of the film seemed important to me." However, though Neve has no problem with her new openess, she doesn't want to share it with her Dad and so did not attend a screening of When Will I Be Loved in her hometown of Toronto. Neve says, "It was difficult, because I had to decide whether I was going to invite my father. But I've talked to him about it and what I've decided is that he can come but I won't be there, 'cause I can't sit next to him and watch (the) love scenes. And I'm naked in the movie and the whole nine yards. My dad was a drama teacher and he said, 'I understand art and I understand these things. It's gonna be fine, don't worry. I can get beyond it.' But he hasn't seen the movie yet!" All I can say is that I hope Neve stays in touch with her art because if she does I'll be lining up to see her movies.
