Sevigny Goes Down For Gallo
This fellacio scene made Brown Bunny the talk of Cannes, leaving everyone wondering why an actress who'd appeared in an Academy Award nominated film, Boys Don't Cry, would do such a thing. In an interview with IFCRant, a magazine on indie filmmaking, Sevigny defends the scene, describing it as "very tender and it's not gratuitous. He's a great actor and a great filmmaker. I knew it would be well done. I've known him since I was 17. ... We were intimate when I was younger a little bit, so I feel so comfortable with him. I could trust him 100 percent."
Unfortunately, the film is so bad it is unlikely you will see it up and Sevigny's hard work (pardon the pun) will never see the light of day.
